The Hall of Fame

My 15 minutes of fame were in the form of an interview that came out in my home-town newspaper!

Another great moment of pride was when my dad (the good looking man in the picture) recieved on my behalf the La Caixa fellowship diploma - I was busy with 1st year PhD exams. The lady in the picture is no other than Queen Letiza of Spain

       

This time the picture didn’t make it to the news, but at least it is on my website. Not everyone can brag about having a picture with Christine Lagarde …

The Running Section

JP Morgan Corporate Challenge (5.6km): a really cool event that happens in Frankfurt and other major cites around the world.

UniLauf Köln (10km): I participated as a COLOGNE INTERNATIONAL during my exchange (Erasmus). Dispite all the German beer I was drinking at that time, I was still able to run at a 5.05 min/km pace!

San Silvestere Popular Ciudad de León (6km & 7km): a popular race that happens around Xmas. A good way of burning some of the extra calories I usually eat during those days. I have run it twice: 2012 & 2023. 11 years apart, but at a similar pace. I guess I am aging like fine wine!
